Same thing happened to my son on his first tour. He was understandably upset. I convinced him that his woman's not worth keeping if she would bail on him. Better he find out now then after starting a family.

Then, I hunted her sorry a** down and persuaded her to leave the state by the time he got back.

You are lucky you just got a letter and not a video tape, cd or other. I have seen some pretty cruel things done to my guys on deployment. Think of it this way. You are a free man to do as you please. Hell, sounds like it's Miller time! People who don't stick with you during the long haul aren't keepers. The problem sorted itself out. HAHAHA. Man this deployement is such a cakewalk that those in charge of us make it so stressful because they are bored. I stopped caring about anything and put myself into a private mode. Makes being dragged in every which way more tolerable. When the Grand Pubar asks why we cant fast rope rappel with a riotshield strapped to our backs... Too much time = bad idea fairies visiting people at night. Oh yeah, this rant was because of the MRE bomb lol. Well I totally would make one and film it but one guy got caught doing that. He was just having fun and did it to entertain the local kids. This ****bag wannabe annoying gangbanger ratted him out and I heard the guy almost got an art 15. Really gay. Cant get away with anything fun or else I would film it for you guys. Hell, I would go into town and buy roman candles and film chasing the terps around with them but I am already under a microscope
