Fortunately many people have joined the NRA as 1st time members, since a political hack has decided to take down the organization. Many others have upgraded to Life, Endowment, Patron and Benefactor member levels.

Many commenting about WLP are not members and will never be members, regardless of how WLP presents himself. It will always be something, NRA is too forceful, NRA doesn't do anything, NRA is elitist, too many NRA guy are slobs, too much junk mail, stuff made in China, they only care about republicans!
On and on we have heard every excuse from a bunch a cheap, illiterate, slobs who know nothing of history, rights, or the political process.
The government school, combined with the antigun press, have influenced their thought process, to where, jealousy ,resentment and envy are the rule to be used against any group or person on the side of liberty.

WLP will survive and Patriots will dismiss these FAKE charges by a Soros DA and continue to recruit suitable members .

Lets go friends, on to 10 million members. We can do it and it will be fun to send NY a message.

BTW if you can't afford $100 bucks for 5 years, get off the forum and get job! Sheesh.lol

Denial is just another word for innocent until proven guilty. Gotta love how some so called gun people immediately believe people, who hate them enough call them terrorists.
Maybe we should coin a new term. The Calgunner Stockholm syndrome ! A attitude where people believe the absolute worst about our friends ,when delivered by sworn enemies .

AG James’ Action Will Hold Powerful Gun Group Accountable Lawsuit Details Years of Illegal Self-Dealing That Funded Lavish Lifestyle of NRA Leaders NEW YORK –

"As a result of all the allegations mentioned above, Attorney General James seeks to dissolve the NRA; asks the court to order LaPierre, Phillips, Powell, and Frazer to make full restitution for funds they unlawfully profited and salaries earned while employees; pay penalties; recover illegal and unauthorized payments to the four individuals; remove LaPierre and Frazer from the NRA’s leadership (Phillips and Powell are no longer employed by the NRA); and ensure none of the four individual defendants can ever again serve on the board of a charity in New York."

Sir maybe you help me understand what the words "dissolve the NRA" mean ?

If these people are so corrupt why not criminal charges? Is anyone is so braindead they consider Leticiia James a friend of the NRA . For gods, she called us a terrorist organization.

Or is the plan for Senator Schumer or New York to appoint people to lead the NRA ? Sounds like a winner to me. sarc

Every time anyone on here criticizes the NRA the same things always get said in defense. "WLP needs the money", "Leticia James and the NYAG are not trustworthy", and some variations of "nothing said against the NRA ever matters because someone will always say something bad about them so I can ignore all of them". No presentation of evidence at all.

Which by the way I say all of this coming from these positions: former member of NRA, comes from family of former NRA members, has not voted anti gun in my entire life, has gifted firearms to others and helped others understand the unjust Californian laws, and every sphere I can have influence in I talk about gun rights. So don't come at me with idiotic ad hominems about unamerican drivel.

Good to see your defense is to just insult people who aren't up to your "standards" of what you think gun owners should be. This may be a surprise to you, but MOST gun owners are normal every day people, not some elegant high society uppity snobs. clearly you've been brainwashed though, so have fun supporting Wayne's vacations, side pieces, and expensive taste. At this point, most of the people joining the NRA are either uninformed, or fudds.

I'd have to disagree there. As has been stated a few times now, many of these allegations have been proven with evidence, including documents from the IRS. It's not speculation, it's not some anti-gunner pulling stuff outta their butt, it is stuff that can be proven in court. Feel free to look it up if you'd like, but the evidence has been out there for at least a couple years now, and the NRA has made zero changes to improve the way they operate. Still corrupt, still anti-gun.

Instead of addressing the likely truth that WLP has been mismanaging the NRA you pretend that I said something I did not say; that the NY AG is a friend of the NRA. Then you proceed to argue against the point which I never suggested or advocated.

My point was that there appears a strong likelihood that many of the mismanagement allegations being made against WLP are true. Who in this thread has said that the NY AG is a friend of the NRA or that she doesn’t have an anti-2A political motivation for starting the suit? I certainly haven’t. Of course she hates the NRA. But that doesn’t mean the lawsuit’s allegations aren’t true. A leader of a politically unpopular organization that, as a non profit, is bound to a state which hates guns, should have been very careful to keep the finances squeaky clean to avoid giving the home state’s politicians any excuse to attack. Instead it was served up to the wolves like a juicy steak.
"Likely truth" based on political charges by a gun hating DA ? ? Your kidding right ?

Every charge, every statement was written by someone who hates the NRA and its members.

A person who is 100% committed to a takeover of USA, turning us in to a vassal state of the UN.

I know with 100% certainty there is not a human being alive who's finances and personal life, could withstand a corrupt DA with unlimited power to examine in detail every aspect an action that occurs for decades.

Do you honestly believe these corrupt prosectors are above making false charges for political reasons?

Im betting every person who has sided with the New York DA against WLP and NRA , also believed President Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election from Hilldog.

Here is a perfect example of prosecutors doing the right thing without regard to their own personal ideologies. sarcasm

So, every single charge against the NRA is a big false flag.
I'm not above saying there is a conspiracy against the 2A, but you are in absolute muck if you think WLP has not been using the NRA in a corrupt way.
