Federal law to grant freedom to Kalifornia

If the Feds can pass (illegal and unconstitutional) bills to restrict our second amendment rights, we need to get Trump to lead the charge to pass a bill that will restore second amendment rights Nationwide eliminating stupid and unconstitutional laws in occupied CA, NY, HI, and other socialist hell holes.

It needs to work both ways. They passed the AWB in '94. We need to pass the RSA (Restoring the Second Amendment) in 2017.

Here is a short list and a sample of what needs to be done NATIONWIDE at a Federal level:

Elimination of all permits to carry. Constitutional carry in all 50 states.
Elimination of all so-called AWB bans on semi auto rifles
Elimination of all magazine capacity restrictions
Elimination of all rosters and "approved" firearms laws.
    Elimination of all waiting periods
Elimination of all one gun a month laws
    Elimination of all ammo bans
Elimination of all lead free hunting regulations (except Waterfowl).
    Elimination of bans on silencers
Elimination of all permits and safety tests to buy a gun
Elimination of all bans on full auto
Elimination of the minimum OAL or barrel lengths
Elimination of DROS and interstate bans on purchases

Feel free to add to the list. If they can (illegally) take it away Federally, we need to get it back Federally. This is the only way to fix states like Kalifornia.

I used to subscribe to this way of thinking but it's a slippery slope but possibly a necessary one.

I agree with multiple people here: Repeal the GCA '68 for starters and see where that gets us.

Wouldn't that be great. CA won't comply as DeLeon stated. It'll be a tough battle until the tyrants are dethroned.

If they don't comply, send in the troops. Shock and Awe.

This approach would be done as we simultaneously get the Supreme Court to declare all existing anti gun laws unconstitutional.

With Trump in, this is our time to act.

Yep troops. Kali is under unconstitutional occupation. We need to be liberated by free America. California politicians should be rounded up and Nuremberg trials held. Prison sentences should follow.

            It is that bad.

The military is always telling me they are defending our freedom. In Cali, we don't have any. Now is their big chance.

while i agree with you in spirit the idea that the POTUS could enact laws such as this that would effect every state freaks me the hell out. what we need is far less power in the executive branch. what if whoever is in office after trump has that same power, think of the harm they could do to gun owners as a whole...

My idea, which I proposed elsewhere, is simple:

The DOJ should be required to certify 2A compliance levels of states every year.

It could be either "yes/no" or maybe a letter grade. The DOJ gives out huge grants to all the states to help them provide many police services. There could be a law that any state with a 2A compliance grade less than B will be ineligible for DOJ grants, or will suffer a mandatory 25% grant penalty or something like that. This would be fairly easy to do, would cover all areas of RKBA, and would apply tremendous pressure on California, as these grants are essential for our law enforcement here.

I get the problem with handing the Feds too much power ...

But, they already exercise this power AGAINST us continually right now.

You would not be giving them anything they already don't have.

The other key point - this would be done will simultaneously getting the SC to make legal rulings in our favor.

                    Work it from both ends.

CA will not comply with the Feds. They will sue in court using the 10th amendment. That should last several more years.

Even if the SCOTUS makes a determination in the laws, CA will not comply. This is the Republic of California.

I doubt the Feds would send in anyone to force a showdown. They've managed to avoid that over ignoring Federal immigration laws for decades. The Federal government really doesn't care about California. We are the "throw-away" state treated like that weird and crazy Uncle no one in the family wants to deal with.

The Feds will ignore us and we will ignore them, the way it's always been done here since 1954.

THIS is a perfect example of how politics work -

                        And its simple negotiation 101.

You ask for 20 items knowing you are only going to get a few each time -

And you keep reintroducing the list until you get them all.

Think about how the corrupt union-owned political hacks here in Kalifornistan have played this anti-gun crap....

Every year they propose numerous ridiculously delusional BS -

                        And we fight them all.

Then we consider it a "victory" when 4 out of 6 are stopped.

The above list needs to add:

Self defense firearms training in all low income / high crime areas.

                        Public school firearms safety training.

Now divide the list into 6 bills and cram them up Democrats asses.

Some won't pass so we follow the plan of reintroducing them time and time again...

The current failure-in-chief's administration sued AZ to stop them from enforcing immigration laws.
