    You must possess a hunting license for pest removal in CA.
    As I read the CA regs, while you may not shoot a crow with a pellet gun, it is a legal method of take for turkey. Go figure.



    Only the following may be used to take resident small game:

    • (f) Air rifles powered by compressed air or gas and used with any caliber of pellet, except that wild turkey may only be taken with a pellet that is at least 0.177 caliber.

        Well in my neighborhood that would be me. With the exception of the boxers thing. Call me Crow Commando. I have a 7 foot tall no see through fence because of the back yard pool. Guess I,m missing out on the karma thingy.
