Pinned or Blocked Magazines Question (import then have FFL make 10-round)

They block mags for any sse gun that does not have 10rd mags come with it. I'm not sure if they will block mags without purchase of a handgun, but it's worth asking. Also they don't charge for sse service. All sse guns cost price listed, tax, and transfer fee.

I am trying to read all there is here and figure out if my recent purchase from GB of a PTR 91F can be shipped with its orginal 20 round magazine that has been blocked to 10 or cannot? The rifle has a mag buttoon installed but the FFL guy up there is asking me if I want to have the magazine blocked or simply not ship the magazine.

If the magazine is permanently modified to 10 rounds, then it can be shipped to CA.
