Gun registration after leaving CA

There is no registration in free states. Or they are not free states. Your guns will still be in your name in CA until you sell them in CA through CA FFL. Or if you sell them out of state then fill out "no longer in possession" form. I didn't fill it out when I sold all my CA guns from out of state to CA resident through FFL. I just left it be because it will still be registered to new name in CA at the time of DROS. So it's up to you.
