Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The fix is in for that NatGeo state outline with a bullet resting on top and a font straight out of Red Dead Redemption, that might raise $75
13 more orders and my shirt ships plus CPRA gets $100 and any excess if more shirts get ordered such that the shirt cost is reduced.Last edited by SkyHawk; 04-11-2019, 9:44 PM.Comment

Loving the ideas and shirts, especially the ones by Kraken and Horton!
Also wanted to share and cross post some designs I came up with:
Would love feedback or just comments in general.
If you think the shirts are awesome, you can pick one up and support the CRPA here: https://teespring.com/stores/cyanide-design
And you can follow the donation updates here: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1524737Comment

Star is in the wrong spot for the flag oneMarch 29- April 5, 2019- The Million Mag March. Thank you, Judge Benitez and all the vendors

Both are supposed to be takes on the Texas Revolution's Gonzales Flag. With the "Rifle" edition being combined with the California state flag, I felt like moving the star to the center would better relate it to the "Come And Take It" flag and justify the text, otherwise it would have no other elements from the Gonzales Flag.
Would you be interested in seeing a more California flag centric design with the star in the top left hand corner?Last edited by simpsons730; 04-13-2019, 5:59 PM.Comment

I felt the action was appropriate.
At minimum they should have moved him to the for sale other than guns category, at maximum nuke the thread.Last edited by colossians323; 04-13-2019, 6:09 PM.LIVE FREE OR DIE!

I'm not saying if you changed it, I'd buy it though, so don't do anything off my opinionMarch 29- April 5, 2019- The Million Mag March. Thank you, Judge Benitez and all the vendors

that seller started off pretending he was going to donate to the CPRA, and then specifically said he is in it for the profits, and you guys are on your own with the CPRA donations, it was just too much work for him to donate.
I felt the action was appropriate.

I'd like to personally address this.
At no point did I ever pull a bait and switch nor did I state I was specifically in it for the profits like you are saying.
The original plan and post indicated that at $25/shirt that $5 would be donated to the CPRA for the epic week we all enjoyed.
After taking the advice from a fellow member that if I used Teespring there would be no need to hit the minimum order amount of 60 shirts for the shirts to print - and this is the route that I decided to take.
One of the differences with using Teesprings platform is that they issue 1099s. I believe this is where your misunderstanding stems from.
I stated that due to Teespring handling all the financial end that I would no longer be donating $5/shirt on behalf of those that ordered. I reflected the original plan and post of taking the $25/shirt to $19.99, hoping those that ordered would keep their end.
Due to the 1099, anything and everything made would affect me personally out of pocket regardless if 100% of anything made was donated as I replied to you the original thread. I take the standardized deduction and not an itemized deduction on my returns, which means I do not and cannot write off anything.
I.E. If I profited $50 off the shirts and donated the $50 it would still be counted as income and I will be taxed as such even if it was completely donated as you cannot go the standardized deduction route and itemized. You choose one or the other on your returns.
Take it as you will but I was trying to do the same thing as the original plan while making sure I would not be penalized down the road when taxes come out of my own pocket and the prices of the shirts reflect that.Comment

Charitable donations are still a write off, which would offset your income that you think you would be paying taxes on.
I have no problem with you profiting, but your understanding of finances are a little confusing.
Why would you quit donating because you might be taxed on income? That is called income tax
I have never worried about being taxed on my charitable donations.
I give because I want to give. I don't give for a tax write off. that is just a side benefit.
Not all my charitable donations are write offable. There have been many a calgunner that has benefited from a donation from me that I did not worry about the tax consequences for.Last edited by colossians323; 04-14-2019, 12:37 PM.LIVE FREE OR DIE!

We need 12 more shirt orders so this one goes to print. I am personally donating $100 of my own money to CPRA when we hit 20 shirts ordered, just because I want to see more shirts out there. Any and all excess money collected by Custom Ink and returned to me (if more than 20 shirts are ordered) will also go to CPRA.
This is a lightweight shirt good for those very hot days on the range.
