Whats the offical deal with online order mags during this past week?

Gun Mag Warehouse is not accepting any more 10+ mag orders. It's posted on their site. I have come late to the party and the few places I've checked are out of stock. Does anyone know of places still selling AR15 30 round mags. Thanks

Don't trust FFLs. They're just as dumb as we are. And lawyers typically don't give out legal advice on internet forums to strangers. However, you'll find an abundance of armchair lawyers here.

Depends on how the vendors are interpreting what a sale is. I chose to order multiple mags from multiple vendors, not putting all my eggs in one basket.

From what I have been hearing on the net, It seems you are safe as long as you have purchased before 5pm PST April 5th 2019, I was also worried that maybe I had to have my hands on them before that, but it seems that you are ok as long as you have purchased before that time. Again, just what I have been hearing from Non Lawyer gun guys smarter than myself.
Screen shot, Print out and save your receipts and keep them with the mags, as proof just in case you might need it in the future.

I believe the burden of proof lies with the government.

You don’t need to prove that you got them inside the legal window. The government needs to prove you got them outside the legal window beyond doubt. Internet orders will always have an email with an order number so as long as you don’t delete that you’ll have your proof. Screenshots and paper print outs can be doctored and they will fall back on cross checking the order number with the seller anyway so I wouldn’t worry about keeping some hard copy in your safe. The paper itself means nothing. Only the trail.

CA-DOJ: Ok, can you at least verify that these LCMs were purchased inside the 2019 legal window for Mr. Doe and order number 0123456?

Not quite, Brownells doensn't have to do **** unless legally bound too. Even confirming or denying your order is a massive invasion of privacy.

Well def not if its incriminating. I could see them not doing it even if it helps the defendant just to set the precedent for future cases.
