The search function on their site didn't work, no results for anything I tried "sp2022 magazine," or "92FS magazine," no results, so I tried elsewhere.

There is nothing preventing the DoJ from flat out lying. They have done so before and will do so again, especially if they won't do anything in writing. Their ONLY answer will be "you might be breaking the law. We might prosecute." There is no way you will ever get "we cannot and will not prosecute", and you can bet you won't get that in writing. Ever.Originally posted by ilikecookiesTaran Tactical just posted on their IG page they are halting sales until confirmation from the DOJ
I woudn't trust a word out of the firearms "experts" at the DoJ; they're scum. They have no interest in giving out accurate information. They survive on threats and fear. I think retailers are on their own here. They can find a lawyer or just take a risk they understand the law.
But any dealer that is waiting for the DoJ to give them the green light is delusional.
That said, I don't blame any retailer for hesitating, there is significant risk for them. For those of sellers willing to take that risk, bravo, I'm glad to see people willing to stand up for Californians. For those retailers who are being hesitant; no hard feelings. It is difficult enough to be a business owner. I do not begrudge your right to do what is right for yourself and those that depend on you.Last edited by curtisfong; 03-30-2019, 11:23 PM.Comment

True, but if everyone does it the DOJ is up for an insane amount of work. They can play big man with a few small companies, putting people out of business and destroying them, but when you have two dozen major retailers doing it they are in for a massive fight.
No doubt retailers themselves are calculating the sales they might get from this "window" and comparing that to legal costs. Not going to be particularly surprised, no large retailer does anything without considering the costs.
I forsee this happening over the next week: some retailers ship, others back out before shipment. DOJ starts threatening and spreading FUD and most retailers cease shipments, but some stuff gets through. It's going to be a royal mess.
Still, the larger the mess is good for us.Originally posted by doggieSomeone must put an end to this endless bickering by posting the unadulterated indisputable facts and truth."The California matrix of gun control laws is among the harshest in the nation and are filled with criminal law traps for people of common intelligence who desire to obey the law." - U.S. District Judge Roger T. Jestice removed the round limit language from their mag page for California (other low cap states still have their own limits listed) and my order went through earlier. Site was absolutely swamped though. Big plus for me from them was the ability to get cz82 mags. Getting 10 rounders for it is a pain since it's a niche pistol. They've always had them in stock and all I could do before was stare longingly.
I have a rather large order sitting in limbo with riflegear, hopefully they end up shipping or give a quick yes/no that way I know whether I should order elsewhere that is shipping now.Comment
