Congress and NRA gobble up 2a a bit at a time. NRA is another suckers game where they consolidate and control the opposition of well-intended people and do things like NOT make a big fuss when the govt illegally confiscated arms during katrina? NRA pretends to represent you and you actually FELL for it. How entirely laughable.

Oh, and maybe you forgot the part where the NRA sued New Orleans successfully about the gun confiscations, produced a documentary to show why what the police did was unjustifiable, and pushed for state laws prohibiting future confiscation which were passed in over a dozen states... But no worries, GOA *****ed about it for a while and that's almost as good.

The NRA did not act until DAYS later when enough NRA members complained why nothing was being done. You got nice-looking caps, nice patches, pictures to use on your signature lines but you don't have a 2a organization that is on your side. They work with congress and the UN to condition you to more and more gun control. NRA should have had a press conference DAY ONE, of the confiscations. I'm not trying to offend you but it's just true. Look at ALL the gun control that has happened under the NRA's watch: 10 day wait period, 30 day handgun limit, limits on purchases of guns that are not the same COLOR as the approved list in CA etc, etc. CA is the most populous state and as CA goes, so does America and CA has the most gun control. THANKS NRA. I think NRA stands for Not Really American or Nazi's Rule America. First they take the guns, then they take you, then they take your lives.

Also, NRA alllowed gun registration. Gun registration is a pre-step that NAZI's did. Ya gotta know WHO gots the GATS before they GET your GATS then YOU. Currently, Janet Napolitano describes GUN OWNERS and VETERANS as the NEW terrorist suspects. Please, the biggest reason that there isn't gun registration on the national level is because the NRA has fought it for damn near half a century.

I'm constantly amazed at how the 'no compromise' crowd thinks things work in the real world.

And if you really think there's some grand conspiracy between the government and the NRA to march the American public into concentration camps...

I agree somewhat about the NRA sucking, but I also believe the NRA is only as strong as the people they represent.

Since the majority of most gun owners are not willing to do much more than use the right they are not as strong as they could be.

They are not the best answer, but they are an answer. Just like the ACLU. . . I don't like that many don't support the 2A, but they do support other parts that do help me in my desire to expand the 2A right. . . Since the ACLU isn't fighting against our rights I am ok with supporting them.

so long as there are ANY lists whatsoever, they can be quickly collected from the states/counties for a National List. And don't tell me that they are too incompetent to do that. There is an illusion that your state is actively fighting expanding federal control. State politicians like national presidents and political parties PRETEND they are on your side while they secretly machinate to undermine your rights. Don't believe it? How about when Nancy Pelosi surprised her voters and said "IMPEACHMENT IS OFF THE TABLE". How about when BUSH revoked POSSE COMITATUS???

No compromise? There should be no compromise because compromise, deception etc. have devalued to dollar by 96% under the illegal federal reserve, something OUR STATE senators, house of reps VOTED FOR in the past and refuse to bring us back into clean money not based on borrowing from foreign countries. Imagine how many LAWSUITS and GUNS and AMMO etc we could afford it our dollar was worth 100% rather than 4 cents devalued by inflation since 1913, our wealth would multiply by 25 times and we would be strong, independent and taking 2-6 month vacations to PROTEST and RALLY against the crooks in congress and the white-house. This is all linked. NRA allowed the incremental destruction of rights, you expect them to incrementally gain them back??? Even Reagan was a Fraud? Yeah, Charlton Heston was a popular and handsome actor but I recall mostly the image of him with a HUNTING SHOTGUN. It should have been an AK47 or AR15 or even a .50 cal. 2a is NOT about hunting, you can hunt without guns. It's about a militia protecting the individual STATES from the current TYRANNY of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. The lines of STATE and FED govt are blurring. Local cops are federalized, president can override the Governor, etc. You guys are outclasse and outperformed because you live in illusions and are stuck in naive outdated paradigms where you think treacherous political parties and NRA orgs are backstabbing you. I have run across this guy on other gun boards. I once tried to read some of the stuff he has been putting before the federal courts. Its extremely hard to follow, and not well written. I am not at all surprised federal judges have found it advantageous to do what they can to ignore it.

It is impressive that he has gotten this far with no lawyer.

I could never make enough sense out of what he is claiming to decide whether he even has a case or not.

Wow a NOOB who doesn't know anything about Calguns history. Before Glen avon was a guest he was a contributing member to calguns and gave some good arguments to help flesh out the whole OLL revolution. Glen was one of the original members from before the change-over. And the guy he was "squabbling" with was a loonie.

You don't see "guest" statues around here too often. Glen was an upstanding member here who, for whatever reason, requested that his account be closed.
