the problem is; if "DeBozo" gets his way, existing non serialized will also be targeted... your 10 lowers will need to have serial numbers by 2016... of course, this will only be an issue if your lower is detected with no number - which as unlikely as it is, could happen anytime you take it out to shoot...

There are a couple things that the proposed law doesn't cover (which should remain undisclosed and undiscussed)... but unlike AB-48, stocking up in advance of 808 doesn't, in and of itself, cover the proposed law.

There have been a few things mentioned in the thread (that as far as I can tell) will cover 808 though - just need to read between the lines...

I'm re-visiting my original question that I posted in 2014 given recent events in CA law.

I'm very confused about the potential changes in CA law in regards to un-serial numbered lowers.

If someone was to... lets say build an AR pistol around a finished 80%

      Is the law changing?

      Thanks!

You may want to read these two threads in particular to get answers to you AR pistol build.

80% lowers MERGED THREADS - please ask in here, not a new thread

        featureless AR Pistol?

Short version is that if you want to have an AR pistol, you should probably do by the end of 2016.
