Friday is range day so I took the opportunity to set out some flyers. Hit Sac Valley Shooting Center then headed up to North Highlands and stopped by Just Guns, Ammo Depot and The Gun Range. Good news was all places had at least a small notice up but happily took another to have on the counter or by the cash register. As a bonus The Gun Range had a G23 magazine in stock that I've been looking for. All in all, a good day.

I'm printing up a gob of these today to distribute on cars/hand-out; but being in the heart of LA/Beverly Hills, what might be the best place to distribute them other than the typical places where our own demographic know of these anyway? (i.e. such as gun shows, guns stores, etc.). Any ideas?

I'm trying to think of areas where a similar demographic that would likley hold on to values that run parallel to protecting the 2nd Amendment, even if such people are not gun owners. In theory, the idea of gun owners being very self-reliant, can-do, resourceful, pragmatic, entrepreneurial, determined, purposeful, inventive, non-frivolous, etc; so in theory, you are more likely to find a gun owner or someone that cherishes their rights at a Home Depot, Harbor Freight Tools center, or Hot Rod speed-shop - than say at a general Fashion-mall, Superior Criminal Court center, or West Hollywood "rave" parking lot.

Took a bunch to the Calguns booth at the Del Mar gun show Saturday when I did my shift incase there were none there...... there were none.

We pooled up some money and I had 300 more made and drove them down there for Sundays booth and some went to Crossroads of The West to hand out at the gate.

I created a petition from the following text I found on this site. I added a table with 17 rows and columns for name, street, and city. I was a Triple B Wednesday and easily got 18 people to sign the petition. Yeah, one extra at the bottom of the page. This is being mailed off to Governor Brown today.

I'll be at Prado Sunday and will do the same. Copy this text or create your own petition and go get some signatures. Don't assume gun owners know about these bills. Most that signed did not know, but were very willing to sign once they became aware of these bills. Come on folks, this is easy.

                      Dear Governor Brown,

It is imperative that you **VETO** the following gun control bills:

                      AB 48 (Asm. Nancy Skinner)
                      AB 169 (Asm. Roger Dickinson)
                      AB 170 (Asm. Steven Bradford)
                      AB 180 (Asm. Rob Bonta)
                      AB 231 (Asm. Philip Ting)
                      AB 500 (Asm. Tom Ammiano)
                      AB 711 (Asm. Anthony Rendon)
                      AB 1131 (Asm. Nancy Skinner)
                      SB 299 (Sen. Mark DeSaulnier)
                      SB 374 (Sen. Darrell Steinberg)
                      SB 475 (Sen. Mark Leno)
SB 567 (Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson)
                      SB 683 (Sen. Marty Block)
                      SB 755 (Sen. Lois Wolk)

These bills will criminalize and punish me and other law-abiding gun owners. We are peaceful, law-abiding people who want simply to exercise our Constitutionally enumerated fundamental rights without fear of prosecution and harassment.

Don't let California's Legislature -- openly hostile to law-abiding gun owners like me -- take away our rights, freedom, and property. Don't let DOJ and local law enforcement confiscate my guns and put me in jail because I believe that the Bill of Rights means what it says. Don't let these bills become law.

We are counting on you, Governor, to VETO THESE GUN CONTROL BILLS and send them back to the Legislature.

Choose to defend our fundamental Constitutional rights. Choose liberty. Choose to VETO the gun control bills listed above.

Thank you very much for your time, consideration, and VETO.

                      Respectfully,
