Tomorrow is election day. Voter turnout is expected to be very low. Post to any social media group you are in and tell all your friends to go vote.
There are more of us Han them yet we ***** and don't vote. Get out there.
We, and our hobbies, have been designated the enemy by the same politicians.
I have many interests outside of guns. Some of these interests are, off roading, dirt biking, Harleys and motorcycles in general, boating, public land access, Hunting (even though I have never hunted), fast cars, keeping taxes low and holding government accountable, keeping the internet free and unregulated, and many more. (I am not going to mention one group I belong to because it is too polarizing and will derail this thread.)
One thing that I have noticed since I was a kid; the people in all of these groups hate the same politicians. Sadly, most of these people are not engaged in politics and never do anything except complain. Many of them are VERY angry, some to the point of being unhealthy.
Many of the issues over lap but are not connected politically. Look at how many threads on different forums are complaining about the same politicians.
We need to organize a super PAC or better yet, form an alliance. Even if we don't care about or agree on the same issues; we can target politicians we all want out. We need to study the political landscape and band together to defeat the most vulnerable politicians who are causing us all harm.
This is hard to do and a lot of infighting will happen but we can all agree on something, what we are doing now is not working.
The most common reason I hear for people not doing anything is that they say they are outnumbered. Well, if your just a gun owner, or just a dirt biker, or just a (insert group here) you are. When you combine all these groups who have many intersecting interests and one core interest that defines them, (the hatred of the same politician) we out number the supporters by far.
Do these groups talk? I believe that approaching it in this way and showing numbers, more people would get involved.
Let's add up the numbers in these groups.
Video gamers, knife enthusiast, martial arts weapons enthusiasts, dirt bikers, small business supporters, motorcycle riders, off roaders, hunters, people who feel wronged by family court, red light camera haters, low tax advocates,
What other groups can we include?
