    is it legal...?

Say every firearms law being suggested passes. Would it be legal go store currently legal firearms out of state (perfectly legal in that state) indefinitely?

I believe so as long as it is locked up and you are the only one with access to it. I remember seeing a similar thread and that was the response.

If you are talking about current state legislation yes as long as you didn't register it as an assault weapon. I could be wrong but I think the wording has it in your control at all times meaning being locked up at you house when not in use. I am sure there is an argument in there but that doesn't mean you wouldn't be a test case.

I have firearms stored near Carson City, NV, as do a lot of Californians (there are a couple of businesses in Carson City that store firearms as well). I am a "resident" of California, not a "citizen" or "subject". California's authority over me and my personal property stops at the state line. California cannot regulate activities at my property in Nevada.
