Something along the lines of dros fees going to school security, heightened background checks but shall issue ccw, no bb, no round limits for mags and redefinition of assault weapons to select fire center fire rifles. I know we don't want to give an inch, but there needs to be a carrot to incentivise the "yea" votes of non gun owners. Incentives like increased school security, heightened background checks, maybe even a small ammo tax that goes to fund mental health or domestic violence programs. Hell if uncle Jerry can force through across the board tax increases, can we get unreasonable restrictions eased by promising funding for school security, mental health and domestic violence programs? Maybe swinging for the fences, but just some brainstorming.
