Gene would never be allowed on the show. Morgan only wants those he already knows he can easily stomp on, or are so bad they unintentionally make us look bad all on their own. A "fair" debate on gun rights is left to another show, which of course would not be on CNN.

And/or he would just filibuster/talk/shout over any sort of substantial opposition...

did any of you see PM and Ted Nugent go at it?

ted was emphatic when he said "Stay the hell out of our faces"

PM admitted he's NEVER owned or held a firearm...then made the statement after firing a MSR..."This is the most powerful gun you can purchase.!"

          what a maroon...

i am a legend in my own mind...

we are told not to judge muslims by what a few do...yet, the NRA membership and firearms owners are ALL considered as radical...

I should have made myself more clear.

I was referring to the NRA meeting in Washington DC and the current state of affairs that we all see on TV at night in regards to the AWB debacle.

The NRA was asked to show up along with other gun rights orgs. SAF was not there. Thus the context of my previous quote.

I know absolutely nothing about CCRKBA or that you are working for them too at this point. By the way i am an SAF member.

Yes, because the media is so accurate in reporting the truth and full breadth of what gun rights orgs are doing...

Here's how I would expect that to go down:

PM: "So Gene Hoffman from SAF/CGF, you really think people NEED AR-FIFTEENS?!?"

GH: "Look, it's a fundamental civil..."

PM: "REALLY? AR-FIFTEENS?? WEAPONS OF WAR? THAT JUST MURDER PEOPLE?? WITH 1000 SHOT CLIPS???? REALLY?????

GH: "Well, look, the bill of rights..."

PM: "AR-FIFTEENS?? ASSAULT WEAPONS OF WAR??? ON THE STREETS??? SHREDDING CHILDREN??? 100 SHOT CLIPS???" STOP LAUGHING SIR!!! STOP SMILING! MURDER RATE! GUN MURDERS! 100 SHOT CLIPS??? AUSTRALIA! UK! STUPID SECOND AMENDMENT!!!" <crumbles paper angrily, and tosses over shoulder> "Our next guest tonight is..."

Nothing against Hoffmang, but I doubt that even he can accomplish much of anything useful on Piers Morgan's show.
                      exactly.

I thought Larry Pratt made him look like the *** clown he is. Made me so happy.
