Her? Calm down turbo... KING of the hill not Queen LOL

Im trying to get the word out and im bashed for it... its amazing... no wonder CA has 10rd mag limits and "Safe lists" etc.. You tell Texans to gather for their rights, they are THERE without moaning about who the organizer is but in CA you want to get some formal invitation? this isn't the Oscars, its a grass roots movement.

Just trying to answer questions. After my post in this thread originally i got a PM by 2 members saying they couldn't find the link to the facebook page and didn't know the time and location... That is why i started a thread trying to provide accurate information about the events.

      Help him what?

      There are no votes planned.

There are no committee meetings planned.

There is nothing to be accomplished at the Capitol at this time.

The downside risk of some nimrod showing up with a gun and causing the whole group to look bad far outweighs any positive impact.

Sorry; this is California. It's not proper to assume here anymore.

Also, I apologize for encouraging the second thread. Never thought it would be interpreted that way

We're doing one out here in Colorado on February 8th and I'll be there.
I am a law enforcement officer in the state of Colorado. Nothing I post is legal advice of any kind.

Why hold rallies on days that the Legislators are in their districts?

When they're in the capitol, they're usually too busy to accept gentlemen callers anyway. I'd like to think they'd make time for you, but really, most of the citizen lobbying is done by proxy..too

I'm just thinking for visual effect, as staffers and legislators are in and out of the building throughout the day. But I'm sure the gun-owners associations will probably plan a lobby day as seen by most unions, environmental, and business organizations which is fairly effective, imho.

Everybody has a "Molon Labe" sticker, but when it comes to ditching work and driving to the capital you make excuses!? Of course the media doesn't want to give it credit. I can't believe how apathetic some gun owners are. Look at Australia and England. This isn't about a hobby, it is about being a free people!! Attack this with passion, I got four people to go to the last rally, all of you should be recruiting friends, not making excuses!!. Make noise about this. You say you would fight for your guns, well then come do it!!!! I don't care if I am the only one there. The 2nd Amendment is the last stand for freedom. We need to get MAD, LOUD AND PRO-ACTIVE!!!! Hell, I say we fight to repeal the laws on the books, much less stop new ones. You have Sheriffs all across the country fighting for this, BACK THEM UP!! Get to the capital and be loud!!!!!
