      One situation where I think it is better to shoot in a location where it is legal, is a rattlesnake acting like it is cornered and refusing to move on a trail on a steep hillside where it is difficult to go around, and going back would ruin a major part of the hike. Also if there are dogs around because one might stray too close to the snake before being brought under control. As far as trying to get a ranger if you are in camp and expecting him to do anything... give me a break.

          Suppose the law passes. A group of antigunners can start a small company on a shoestring budget , and make shot shells for a whole bunch of calibers. Perhaps a run of about 50 boxes of each. And then all guns that shoot those calibers are now illegal. Total spent to do this maybe a few hundred grand, or less.
