Statistics on CCW or anything related

I've been lurking around the site for awhile and decided to join. It has been a very good source of info for me. I am a college student and have a few upcoming essays. In two of them I want to tackle 2nd A. issues. I haven't decided what the actual will be yet. It will either be arguing for: shall issue of CCW, The need not for more legislation but for better enforcement, or more CCW freedom such as colleges.

So my question is what are some of the good sights for statistics or other FACT related information regarding these topics? Depending on how the papers turn out I may or may not send them in for publishing. I'm beginning to take these issues very seriously (after starting college) Also if someone has other pro-2nd A. topics that I haven't covered please.. type away!

    Thanks,
    S.O.B.

Also check out the crime rates in Florida after they changed their CCW laws.

IIRC John Lott is the biggest evangelist on CCW and how it lowers crime.

Wow, my little County, population 32,000 +/- (if you exclude the prision ) issues MORE CCWs than...

          42 other Counties!

FYI: There's only 58 Counties in CA...

This has been covered before. Just spend some time using "Search" and/or going thru old pages of titles of threads on this subforum.

Go over to Team Billy Jack's site, and ck out all their webpages to find info. www.californiaconcealedcarry.com

Do the same w/the NRA-ILA. Do the same w/CATO Institute and the Independence Institute (the place in Oakland). I posted an "excellent" article in a thread on this subforum a week or two ago re this issue. Look for it via my username by linking w/my avatar.

Just roll up your selves and dive into to online and library research. The more you accomplish by your own efforts the sweeter the reward and the greater your self-respect.

He was on the Ronn Owens talk show this morning. He discussed arming people on campus in an effort to stop the school killings. He was well spoken and had convincing arguements in support of ccw.

Hear the discussion here, http://www.kgoam810.com/showdj.asp?DJID=3517, click on "Fri" for audio.

These are the kinds of spokesman and arguments we need for the cause.

Involved with DC v. Heller right now.

Cato senior fellow Robert A. Levy personally funded the plaintiffs' challenge to the District of Columbia's gun ban in an important Second Amendment case that will be heard by the Supreme Court in early 2008.
