Only thing I noticed was that Gene said there is no way to purchase a firearm without going through an FFL in CA. They were talking about the "Gun Show Loophole". He forgot about C&R rifles... which make up most of those sales @ gun shows that the politicians complain about. Granted, we're talking about 50+ year old firearms... but I think he was a little misleading (for lack of a better word) on that point. Of course, I think after 2014, that all goes away & we then have to go through FFL's for everything.. right?

Since the exemption dies 1/1/14 and it would take me way too much time to explain that for the next 16 months some rare long arms don't need to go through an FFL... Would you agree that 98% of the listeners who are selling/transferring firearms need to go through an FFL?

I understand... I hope I didn't offend. I was just curious, and I couldn't think of a better word than "misleading" at the moment. Makes sense that since FTF transfers of C&R long-guns will be illegal soon, you didn't bring it up.
