Yep. That's a full pant-load right there, with some precedent behind it that's ripe for overturning as well.

Pretty funny when the approps. Com. can even see through the BS Yee and his COS Adam Keigwin, (a nobody who has never been elected and is a yes boy to Yee) are presenting.

The evidence points to the opposite. The tail is wagging the dog. Yee originally said he wasn't going to push the bill, yet Keigwin kept it alive, apparently w/o Yee's knowledge, then convinced Yee (ex post facto) that it was a good bill. IMO Yee is a doddering fool being controlled by another fool.

I think we should have our ducks in a row for the next bout. Because the next bout will come. Don't doubt that for a second.

Thank you Brandon, very good info there. And that you for your hard work, it's obviously reflected in their opinion.

Why isn't it brought up when they talk about the bullet button violating the intent of the assault weapons ban that the assault weapons ban is violating the intent of the 2A?

I like how they justify that taking our property isn't a taking using a DC Court of Appeals decision that dates long before Heller and McDonald. Methinks they doth mimic the ostrich in such affairs as this.

                        I penned this a few years ago, inspired from something/somewhere - I don't remember:

"What better compliment for the teacher, than for the student to excel and advance to even higher limits?"

I do believe this goes for the "dark side" as well.

But I remember an earlier post saying that Yee originally wanted to back off of the bill, but it was Keigwin that kept the bill alive.

If you ask me, we should be focusing more on Keigwin and his childish/immature anti-gun comments than with Yee.

I think the history of SB249 says otherwise.

Also, his high profile is very unusual for a COS. Boss's generally don't put up with it.

As long as Yee isn't reigning Keigwin in, it means Keigwin is in control, not Yee.

Pretty much this, I honestly think Yee learned his lesson that our guns are OFF LIMITS and really wants to stay out of this now.

It's Keigwin and his loose-cannon mouth we need to focus on now.
