    Voter Initiative

I'm sure this has been asked by at least one person but I haven't been able to find a thread for it. If there is already a thread on this, please point me to it and delete this one.

Would it be possible to submit a voter initiative to repeal laws like the AW ban or Approved safe handgun list? if so has anybody tried it already?

It would take a lot of money and resources and would more than likely lose badly. The money and resources can be better used other places.

Ballot initiatives don't work when the vast, overwhelming majority of the voters are against you, to say nothing of the enormous cost of organizing such a thing.

The summary I maintain and occasionally update is http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=156804

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

The suggestion is made every month or so, and usually withdrawn after it has been explained why it is considered by most to be a bad idea. One recent initiative, sponsored by Ignatius Piazza (sp?) of Frontsite was withdrawn after Californian firearms enthusiasts (don't remember if it was Calguns or not) had a meeting with him to explain the downside.

Basically, it is an extremely expensive process, the money could be better spent chasing success in federal courts, it would be very unlikely to pass in view of the number of libtard sheep and soccer moms in California, and if it did fail it would very publically set back the movement greatly.

            That's it in a nutshell.
