I guess I'll get some sleep tomorrow night.

Will this also be the situation for the rest of the nation: WI and IL (both No-Issue), HI, MD, DE, NY, NJ, MA, RI (all May Issue) and DC (? Issue)?

          Paladin,

For strategic reasons there are a couple of statewide gun laws that are worth targeting immediately post Heller first so that we start to build good case law our direction. Then we should go after the equal protection/OC or must issue issues. It's not going to take long once Heller is out, but its probably more a Q4 of this year or Q1 of next timeframe to get started.

You have made me a VERY HAPPY CAMPER ! ! !

This is the best news I've heard in quite awhile. I've always thought Shall Issue should be our Number 1 priority since very few BGs get stopped by GGs using AWs, but many have been stopped by GGs using CCWs.

So, if things get filed in about a year (2009), that means all the court proceedings should be done and a Shall Issue system should be in place by roughly when, 2012?

Then, and only then, will it be time to party!

Not so fast- There is no law prohibiting carry in a grocery store, but other restrictions may make it illegal to carry loaded, or within 1000ft of a K-12 school... And its not like it hasnt been done before...
