Concealed carry gives gunnies another reason (besides hunting and target shooting) to join a club and to go to gun shows. But, even more importantly, concealed carry gives non-gunnies a reason to become gunnies (armed self-defense).

JANESVILLE — Interest in firearms, fueled partly by Wisconsin’s new concealed-carry law, prompted a thousand gun enthusiasts to the Rock County 4-H Fairgrounds in Janesville on Saturday for the Rock County Rifle and Pistol Club gun show.

Ordinarily, one might expect that the interest would lead to the change in the law; perhaps it did.
