    Brady's big announcement

Here it is, hot off the wire. I know there was a brady thread about this, but I cant find it

I thought they were allowing comments, but mine is "awaiting moderation".... Think it will make it?

Wow you guys are actually allowing comments..? Some one screwed up. So anyway here goes.... Meh, I am not impressed, how many people do think are going to turn out besides the usual suspects? You guys are becoming a fringe group..... And what happened to helmke? I know his contract was up, I guess it just seemed sudden.... I bet he was pissed Gabby Giffords didnt die.... What a triumph that would have been! Have you called her office? Did she turn you down.... I dont blame her.

So do we combat this nonsense, or just let quietly pass by? Honestly I am not that worried about brady anymore.... I just got four new NRA memberships for various freinds and family this year, and I feel like we are stonger than ever (check out black friday sales figures) brady doesent even have the type of outrageous FUD you see from CSGV or the slick legal veneer of LCAV, do we even wast time trying to fight it out with these kooks?

I agree with the Bradys. Too many have been lost to gun violence. The Bradys need to do something about ILLEGAL guns, but they'd rather go after the "low hanging fruit" of LEGAL guns.

What a shame, but I guess that is the easy thing to do if you feel the compelling need to do anything, no matter how random it is.

Sounds like Jan 8 should be "go to the range in honor of unarmed victims" day.

Without guns there would be no gun violence: True statement

Without candles, there would be no accidental house fires caused by candles: Another true statement.

Yet they are asking people to light candles.

Vote for pro-gun candidates, or lose your rights, and the rights of future generations. That's it. The end.

New websites, new ad campaigns, new 'volunteer opportunities'; this all looks great on paper when you are asking for money from charity orgs. I have to imagine that the arbiters at the Joyce Foundation are starting to get suspicious though.

"Since that terrible day, though, more than 11,000 Americans have died in gun murders"
It says 11432, and I'd like to know what percentage of that number is from suicide, justifiable officer involved, and accidental.

Wow, I never thought I would agree with the Bray's. There are too many victims. We need to arm more law abiding civi's to help fight back and protect the innocents. Now as for the 11,000+ "murdered" in one year.... That was just pulled out the 'ol rectal mouth...
                        200 bullets at a time......

Well it's been a day since they posted that video to youtube, and it's up to 170 views! I wonder how many of those views are from pro-gun people. Over 80% is my guess.

Hah! At this point, this thread alone on CGN has 363 views. I'd be willing to put a small wager on 100% of the video views coming from here.

Of course, any reasonable person would want to know that. The Brady Bunch sure as heck doesn't want you to know that though. While we're at it I'd also like to know how many of those individuals were current or former gang members, or involved in the commission of a crime at the time of their death.

Lets be honest, they throw these numbers around to scare the general population into thinking they are likely to become a victim, or one of their loved ones. Scare tactics are at the very heart of their plan. However I'm not in the least bit scared that I might all of the sudden become a gang member without intending to.
