Just a quick thought -
Sometimes I think that it's good that there are all of these ineffectual organizations taking money from Joyce (and like minded philanthropic groups). It dilutes their power and directs money from the effective anti groups.
Then again, it swells my heart to seem my enemies crushed.

In a time of dire financial straits and potential infrastructure collapse like the world has NEVER seen before, anyone advocating restricting an individual's freedoms and rights to defend oneself and his/her family and friends is committing an act of OUTRIGHT TREASON.
I have not a shred of mercy or pity to see groups like AHSA wiped from existence. Good effing riddance. In Glock We Trust.

It would be a shame if somebody started a new anti-gun organization, accepted a metric craptonne of money from Joyce, and then did such a pathologically incompetent job that the net effect was pro-gun.Comment

Gun Guys which was a part of Freedom States Alliance (which had a bunch of subsidiaries). These were all absobed into States United to Prevent Gun Violence. http://supgv.org/
There was an "Against Gun Violence" group in Iowa or Idaho that went under, apparently, the one person manning the phones died and no one noticed for a year (j/k)...
The linked article mentions a couple others.Rest in Peace - Andrew Breitbart. A true student of Alinsky.

That was my first thought when I read the OP. Too bad that probably constitutes fraud...01001100 01100101 01100001 01110010 01101110 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110011 01110111 01101001 01101101 00100000 01001001 00100111 01101100 01101100 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100100 01101111 01110111 01101110 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01100001 01110010 01101001 01111010 01101111 01101110 01100001 00100000 01100010 01100001 01111001 00101110

This makes me happy.
I wonder how those groups get started. It seems like the antis organize them from the start which means if we wanted a fake anti group we would have to fund it ourselves.
While it might get a list of small time antis and do some PR work, I can't see it being worth the money that we would need to put in to such an operation.
AHSA had $500,000.
What could CGF do with a similar amount?Comment
