wow didn't know all of this...

camarillo shooters supply has always had a policy that PPT, PTP are by appointment only and only after approval. I was under the impression that he (they) had the right to refuse to transfer firearms he didn't approve of, like Hi-Points or EBRs.

Concerning the 30 day wait period, that's only with handguns, correct?

Say I start a PPT on day 1 for a rifle, then start another PPT for a lower at another dealer on day 5 (in relation to the first PPT). Pick up the rifle from the first PPT on day 10 and then pick up the lower from dealer #2 on day 15. Would that be legit?

All the same, and yes you may be literally right, but look on the CAL GUN ads and they are reference all the time all those ways.
Well, no, not all the same.

A California PPT is shorthand for a specific kind of transaction, a subset of the PTP/FTF group, that requires a CA FFL.

Out in the rest of America, PTP/FTF doesn't need intervention. California allows that only for long guns over 50 years old.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

but I called dealer #2 that just did the transfer and he told me that consignments in the store are considered same as new, and they have the 30 day limit requirement. This conflicts with the consignment you stated above?

            Is he wrong?

            Yes, consignments are like PPTs.

If they weren't, consignment guns would have to be Rostered.
