You forgot one option in the poll:
"I'm not going to vote but will whine and blog about how I dislike the way other people vote and will demand voting reform and more gov't oversight"

I always vote, I'll take time off work if I have to so I can make it to the polling booth. For some reason I don't like putting my mail-in ballot in the mail and I DESPISE electronic voting.

I have voted in every election held in the last ten years and every election but two since '92.

In '94 I forgot to request my absentee ballot ( I was in the Military) and in '96 my life was in a downward spiral and I was bottoming out, voting was the last thing on my mind.

That chair is cold right now. Last I heard, the guy that was sitting there became a campaign manager for the democratic party. They're still letting him cash his checks and fly around the nation in Airforce 1 though.

Same here. My first vote was cast in the 1982 election, against the gun ban initiative, and I haven't missed a single election, including specials, since then. My 18th birthday involved 2 things before I even went to school.. first was registering for selective service and the other was making sure I was registered to vote. Yeah, I was late to school, but then I was 18 and could sign off on it..

Well, since my Congressman mirrors my views, and votes that way on the Hill, I can say right the heck now. I just got a robo-letter from him indicating his support for that bill to allow the Korean gun imports in. I sent an email to him just a week or so ago about that. Pretty good on both quick reply AND on substance.

I complained when I was moved from CA-19 to CA-21, but I'm actually happier with Nunes than I was with Radanovich. George was OK, but squished on a few things. Nunes is hard-core.

Voted in every election since I was 18. I will be at St. Isadore's in D-ville next Tuesday!

Yes, I'll be there come November 2nd. I've never missed an opportunity to vote since I turned 18, that was 31 years ago.
