Though I can't stand Boxer any more that the next guy here, our efforts, I think, should be focused our own *state* representatives (not federal representation). It's CA law that constitutes most of the oppressive rules we despise.

I think we'd all be pretty thrilled if our state law reflected federal law regarding RKBA.

As a side comment, what do you all have against Libertarians? I see it as the "better" of both worlds - personal freedoms and hands off my wallet.

The unemployment, a good portion of the stimulus, auto bailouts, insurance bailouts and bank bailouts were all a product of Bush. How about the TRILLION spent on Iraq?

I'm not blaming republicans in particular, just pointing out that they're no better - fiscally.

What do you think that means for scary, black, evil guns?

            Good Luck!!

I think that just about makes it crystal clear. Nearly spit out my tea!

              I'll just quote Reagan.

I do hold Bush responsible for passing everything, with a democrat majority in the House and Senate. I also agree that the republicans weren't much better.
Both parties are guilty of exceeding their Constitutional Authority which has been going on for decades. Both parties will feel the consequences come November 2nd. Unsafe incumbents, distancing from Obama/Pelosi/Reid, tea party candidates beating long time repubs etc.
