Military and CA AW/gun laws?

Yes the U.S. Federal Constitution does give you the right to bear arms... however the State of California Constitution does not. Most people do not realize that there are two seperate governments at work here: Federal AND State. You're militay... think of it like this; the branch says that you can do this and that, but your base/unit says you cannot. The base/unit can hold you to higher standards and restrictions than the overal branch of service will hold you to. More than, but not less than standard (in a negative way). Its stupid... we all know this.

Contact DOJ and let them know what you need. They will ship you a packet and and once you get it you can go to your JAG or Security Clearance officer and have them do your finger print cards (do two so if they will not accept one there is a back upo right in the same envelope). Send a copy of your PCS Orders and the aplication. Mail everything back with 78 dollars and there should be no issue. I do not believe your state of residence will mater but if I were you I would change my residence to WA before I come here. One benifit would be when you register your auto it will save 80 percent.
