2024 SB 53 Portantino - requires storage in 'approved firearms safety device'

What is the status of the challenge to this law?

I can't find any current lawsuits against SB53. Maybe someone who knows (CRPA?) can update us. This law doesn't take effect until 1/1/26, so maybe they are waiting because there are bigger fish to fry in the meantime.
Also, they may need a plaintiff who has suffered injury from this law, and since it is not in effect, they will wait. Anybody with mote info?
