The left is more than happy to disarm blacks.

Aside from the past gun control created by the Democrats to prevent freed slaves from buying guns, we have all these current-day restrictions that essentially disarm inner-city blacks and Latinos:

      1) bans on "Saturday Night Specials" and other affordable guns
      2) high fees for the permits to buy guns
      3) "may issue" CCW in urban areas = practically no CCW in urban areas
      4) ammo restrictions
      5) no shooting ranges within easy distance of the inner city

All these have disarmed the Democrats' supposedly favorite constituents: downtrodden racial minorities who suffer the greatest gang violence in Democrat-run megacities. Not a peep from them about how racist their policies actually are in practice.

And of course per-round ammo taxes will really hurt inner city minorities' ability to defend themselves.

Colion Noir has spoken about this a lot.

It would seem from what he has said, and what I've read, that gun rights aren't a very strong issue, priority-wise, in the black community. IMHO, they likely have more pressing issues.

Also, the average black person is more likely to know a person-sometimes multiple persons---who has been shot to death. And they've been convinced by their Democrat overlords that the only solution is more gun control. All the while not seeming to notice that local street criminals pay no mind to the laws.

The really frustrating part, is that if we believe the news(and politicians), the average black person feels that cop-on-black-citizen violence is far more critical than thug-on-citizen violence. Although that clearly isn't even close to being accurate.

The thousand+ black families each year that lose a member to an armed criminal thug simply must know better, but my gut tells me they're afraid to speak up and go against the tide.

It's so sad, because if any large inner-city black community were to ever organize and convince their local Democrat mayor that they will NOT receive their vote, unless the gangs are eliminated, and then follow through with their threat, it'd send a shockwave message across the nation to many other mayors.

        ..............
Trying to rationalize why this may not be a bad bill, reminds me of the many stories of some Jews in WW2 where they assumed they were safe, just so long as the Nazis were just taking away other people first.

Every time I hear someone talking this way, I remind them that

As a new NV resident I have to ask. Are you aware of HB 291? It is the first step to Cali gun hell in NV.

I walk into my back yard/front yard and shoot my guns.
We don't pay for tax or CRV on my sodas and waters
                Our groceries cost less
We don't have to pay for paper or plastic
We have no problem buying machine guns or ppt at the gas station in NV

How is all that working in Cali?

when Freedom week hit cali, I was able to help bring a bunch of mags in for people.
We don't have freedom week here, we just by SCM's whenever we want, and they come with our guns when we buy them new.

Not sure about what gun rights we have lost here, but I haven't seen it.

Not even trying to brag, and it is still the same free state that I moved to.
I will let you know when it is not

This is how it starts. Pick a class of people (smokers) , demonize them, restrict their freedom. The class is eventually expanded to include more people.
I have no fondness for smokers. And I am in favor of restricting smoking. Anti-gunners feel the same way about us.
Restrict the other guy, tax the other guy, just leave me alone. That's the thinking that causes the loss of freedom.

                    Yes
Are you aware it won't be followed, Won't be prosecuted (except in Vegas area), and most likely will be challenged and deemed unconstitutional in the NV courts?

Have you bought any NFA Items yet?
