At Lytle Creek they did care and asked us not to use the SCM because their board of directors haven’t approved it yet. It seemed reasonable. The ruling happened so quick. It was my first time there and they seem to play it very safe. The RSO said they get LEO there sometimes. They asked us if we have RAW paperwork in case LEO showed up. They seem to do everything by the book. It may be annoying for some but I am fine with it. At least you don’t get knuckleheads sweeping their AKs at everyone trying to take a pic.
There is nothing in "the book" requiring one to have their RAW paperwork with them or present it to LE when they take their RAW shooting.

That injunction doesn't cover the "nuisance" law, just the full-on ban, or so I've been told.

Who told you that? Show them a copy of this: https://crpa.org/news/blogs/crpa-ale...-ordered-stay/, and tell them to pay special attention to Section IX.

Preliminary injunction was issued back in 2017, never overturned since then

It's their CYA stance. They just ask, but never check, so you can lie all day long.
Also, no law requires to show the paperwork to LEO. I think LC policies make no sense

I shoot at a LGR that the local LEOs sometimes use. If a LEO were to start asking others to look at their guns or trying to enforce gun laws, they would be tossed just like anyone else that was being a jerk. They have done it and permanently banned a few. Their house their rules.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

Actual exchange that happened between me and a Santa Clara County Park ranger (Who was the RO as well):

                  (Range intake office, day, internal):
me: Any issues with the large capacity mags?
RO: Nope. Just don't do rapid fire.
Me: I have more trouble getting the rifle back on target first. *laughter*, rapid fire will not be a problem.
                  RO: *laughter*
                  RO: Freedom week, huh?
                  Me: Yeah.
RO: We made the whole country go dry.
(to RO2): Hey, could we order rebuild kits?
ME: You could modify your mags and unlimit yourself as well during that time.
RO: Oh Yeah, here you go (hands ME the target)
                  (END SCENE)
                  The end.
Nobody at the range (lines to my left or right) even blinked.

I read that. I am not a lawyer, but that section gives the CRPA interpretation of the nuisance law and the likely effect of the injunction on it, but doesn't state that the injunction prevents enforcement. The injunction itself only references 32310, I think.

I am utterly ashamed that you even asked. And so should you.

From what I can surmise, freedom week basically legalized possession of every illegally possessed standard capacity magazine in the state....

I have several RAWs from PRE Y2K. I shoot them regularly with my "hi caps" since Jan 2000. Never got hassled. But I always have a copy of my AW Registration form with me.
