Zero issues using SCMs at the range since Freedom week or the couple of decades before it. This is, and pretty much has been, a non-issue.

Went to the range yesterday, everyone at the range was busy with their own thing. Never had issues with SCM.

Went to the range last Thursday. The front office did not care and the RO stated that "I'm not a ***** LEO or DOJ *****. All I care about is if you are SAFE on my range!!!!!" I wish the guy had been a little less timid but I went ahead and used my SCM anyway and figured on a 25 rd mag I had 2.5 times the enjoyment over my previous trip to the range.

I can see going out to the range with a 30 round magazine without any problems, but has anyone gone out or seen anyone with a drum magazine? I would think that would bring some unwanted attention.
