~200,000-400,000 blocked or riveted magazines were put into liberty mode.
I think a few rounds were linked as well.

What about those simply changing hands here? Those were likely in the state already somehow, but will now see daylight.

One retailer I spoke to said that they'd had Law Enforcement customers that were distressed that they used to have a shot at determining whether a mag was pre-2000. Now, all bets are off. Zero ways to prove they weren't acquired during this week of grace. Every standard cap in the state is now legit.

he also said that they have 15,000 different products. They are never out of inventory....but they were flat out of all standard capacity mags.

              Go freedom.

And every magazine that is in the state 5 years from now will be legit, except those with designs not currently in production.

                            Checkmate.

The Honorable Judge Benitez obviously knew what he was doing.
We need to erect a statue and compose a song for him.

And let us declare March 29th a holiday, to commemorate the occasion.

I estimate 1-5 million mags were legally bought this past week. Would have to see numbers from the larger retailers for wensday/thursday/friday...prior to then it was easily one million.

The Police Chief in my city hadnt even heard of the judges ruling and def did not receive any notification from the Attorney General. Maybe the magazine limit is just a DOJ enforcement thing. I just dont think regular Police would ever bother with it.... And if a criminal has possession of a gun and is arrested for it, I doubt adding on some infraction for standard capacity mag would be a priority.
