I've just renewed my GOA membership today.

I also sent GOA an email message as follows and you good people here might find it interesting:

    Dear GOA:

I have not disclosed my home/mailing street address for membership renewal. Please send no GOA materials to my mailing/home address. Please correspond with me as a member via email only. I live with roommates who might not share our pro-gun views and doing it this way protects my privacy as well as conserves paper and other resources.

Please send future legislative/political alerts to me via email only. Taking pro-gun-rights action via the (fee-free) Internet saves me postage costs.

    Thank you much.

I do not read private messages, and my inbox is usually full. If you need to reach me, please email me instead.

        Gee, rough crowd....

Welcome, newbie DonaldBabbett, to CalGuns.Net and the Politics, Litigation, Activism forums.

Unfortunately, many of us here, in the CA Litigation subforum, are getting a bit grumpy/testy () because we've been waiting for an important case to get "finalized" for months longer than we thought: it's the Peruta case which, if it goes our way, should open the floodgates for CCW (concealed carry weapons) permits for most law-abiding CGNers.

I should point out that your post, while worthwhile for those who support GOA and don't want mail sent to them, does not belong in the CA 2nd A Litigation subforum. I think, since it's re. GOA and not GOC, it should go in the National Political subforum. (If it were re. GOC, then I'd guess it would belong in the CA Politics subforum.)

Anyway, welcome again, and be sure to keep an eye out to find out what happens to Peruta. You'll probably hear/read about it first in this, the CA Litigation subforum.

I hope you suggest to family & friends who are pro-RKBA to join us in the fight!
