Perhaps we can use this to establish a pattern of corrupt laws and bring RICO to bear against the Democrats. A fellow can dream, can't he?

the time is ticking and the judge refuses to make a ruling as California continues to drop more handguns, its obviously a gun ban once we reach to 0 thats it. whats the next step banning the handguns already at home and preventing private transfers.
retreat! we must go comrade we will fight again another day.

Can anyone recount where the case is procedurally? My recollection was that the Judge was poised to rule dispositively pretty soon.

We are literally just waiting. The arguments are over, all briefs are submitted, the supplemental briefs about micro-stamping have been submitted.

The judge is just taking her sweet time. Don't take that as a bad sign though, look at Palmer in DC, that took years. And, the judge on this case, although she is a Dem. appointed judge, has a very well rounded background and is more likely to make well reasoned decisions.

Just a reminder that we are at *District Court* level, so no matter what the ruling is, we are going to the Circuit Court next.

The only game changer that could happen overnight would be if we won *and* the judge issued an injunction.

No more action on this case?

Hope you are right. Of all the gun cases in the pipeline I view this one as the most important. The microstamping requirement has essentially banned all new-model semi-auto handguns in California. Surely this cannot stand Constitutionally.

That's what I think as well. It's gun control getting a pass in a lower court that screws us up though.

Agreed. This case is #1 to me. If a state is allowed to arbitrarily ban future handguns that don't contain a fictional technology, the 2a is dead in the water.

                            Dumb question but here goes.
I looked up the roster for Sig Sauers. All Sigs expire on the first of next year.

Does the roster only show 1 year at a time, or are we seeing the end of Sig Sauer?

Due to a change in the law, ALL entries renew/expire at the 1st of the year. It has always been an annual renewal, but it used to be each firearm renewed sometime during the year.
