Looks like this case could be the next man up since NY was considered moot.

I’m thinking CA could follow NY and moot Pena by changing the Roster rules. DOJ has been adding manufacturers to the roster with no associated guns that qualify. I’ve been watching this for a few months now

I wouldn't hold my breath. It has already been 16 months since the petition was submitted.

The Supreme Court will have to run through the 10 pending cert requests and either grant or deny.

What compels them to do so? They have waited 16 months on this petition with nothing to show for the wait.

Please show me any citation in the Rules of the Supreme Court ( https://www.supremecourt.gov/ctrules...oftheCourt.pdf ) where it says they have to rule on a cert petition on any timeframe. I even gave you a link to the document.

Take as much time as you need to reply.

Hahaha There won't be any more 2A cases this session. So now add in another at least 6 months until the new term starts. With the plague expected to make another appearance in the fall, make that 12 months.

                            Justice delayed is justice denied.

But if no new cases asking for cert come up that are worthy of cert, at least we have some already in their pocket. It’s better than nothing and nothing in the courts are fast
