Nor does it pass the smell test in this case. They hung those Jack Boot Thug Nazi bastards by the neck until dead. The least that should happen here all those decades later. Is that "qualified immunity" should be denied. Because these modern day JBTs knew damn well that they did not have a valid warrant for the loot they stole.

They should all be held personally responsible for any losses incurred on citizens due to their willing participation in the theft.

Thieving bastards, are thieving bastards. With or without, a badge.

The flagrant abuses of authority will never cease as long as agents of the state continue to enjoy immunity from personal responsibility.

There?s a conflict of interest built into the system.

      - law enforcement works for the government, not for the citizen

-pensions are at an all time FaT. You serve the man, you get your FAT pension. You don?t obey those in charge, your pension is at risk

      - as a cop you may believe in the constitutionality of laws, but you?re a protected class - you prefer the one to be enforcing them rather than them being forced on you.

      - every law is a tool - not only to empower you in law enforcement, but to weaken the citizens investigated, detained, arrested and charged

      - the Peace Officer Bill of Rights protects your standing

      - qualified immunity makes you practically immune unless you make a knucklehead move

Asset forfeiture is a ridiculous violation without due process. In all honesty, misdeeds by law enforcement should be viewed and charge to the pension system of the offending agency. See how quickly the behavior would change.

Pay attention to what happens to law enforcement officers upon retirement , find out how many of them exit the state of California to spend their pensions.

      FBI? Whole different mess
      On hold....

Not necessarily. May v. Bonta, the California SB2 sensitive places constitutional challenge, drew a Republican-majority 3-judge merits panel, which explains why the district court injunction remains in effect.

My utopian vision includes a Uniform Code of Civil Service Justice. Reminiscent to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). All civil servants, politicians, and contractors must sign and swear to it. Once a betrayal against the people is uncovered, justice must be swift and firm. Everyone must be held accountable.

Also , if unconstitutional laws are overturned, removal from office of those who voted for, must be immediate.

But that's just my right wing utopian vision of order. It's nowhere gonna happen.

While I certainly agree with the spirit of your idea, in practice, unless the nation figures out a way to remove progressive activist judges, left-wing courts would misapply the uniform code to imprison Republican politicians for violating "constitutional rights" such as abortion rights, affirmative action rights, gay rights, trans rights, and other fabricated liberal nonsense, while completely ignoring the Second Amendment.

Enforcement of court decisions relies on the same corrupt states that created them.

They can and will ignore them as they have done already.

The federal government (obviously not under a Democratic administration) must enforce Supreme Court rulings. Once upon a time, a Republican administration had to use force to halt a Democratic campaign of massive resistance.

Sorry, even that was a political show. They only hung a few for political convenience. Many were given long sentences then let out a few years later, many were released quietly because they had something of value to provide in exchange for their freedom.

Then a whole bunch were never tried because they were too valuable. They were taken straight to the US or Britain because they would be very useful in the upcoming Cold War that everyone knew was coming. Then some recently declassified material showed we traded some high value Nazi prisoners with the Soviets to get some they had that we considered to be of even greater value to us.

Declassified material also showed we helped a few get to Argentina because they had information we did not want to get out. They knew about the Americans that collaborated with the Nazis but had too much political power and wealth and the political establishment did not want that information to get out.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

Operation Paperclip brought thousands of Nazis to America in order to advance our technology, strengthen our science, and assist our fight against the Soviet Union. Geopolitics only has shades of gray.

The early 1990s were an especially outrageous time in the world of policing. Never forget Ruby Ridge and Waco. The elites memory-holed those events but have the ignorant masses blinded by the false narrative of "racial injustice".
