Judge Benitrez has made 3 rulings as far as I could dig up. I think these are the first 3 laws in California to fall.
- High capacity magazines
- AR15 restrictions/bans
- Ammo purchase background checks

In his Fouts decision, Benitez basically let it stand due to it being 104 years old (ie longstanding). The Bruen decision has now deemed that not a valid date.

They would be allowed
(1) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that does not have a fixed magazine but has any one of the following:
(A) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon.
(B) A thumbhole stock.
(C) A folding or telescoping stock.
(D) A grenade launcher or flare launcher.
(E) A flash suppressor.

Considering there’s no law against removing the bullet buttons right now (and everyone is still afraid to do so), I don’t see how it will matter what Benitez says on this issue.Comment
