      I think it's this one, but it's not on yet. It's another gun related case called Junior Sports Magazine v. Bonta

        Thank you to abinsinia for the above link to the Baird oral argument. The Baird case starts at 29:51, but the earlier Junior Sports case is also interesting and worth watching.

        the judges were very tough (but fair) on both attorneys. I think Baird has the better argument that California has an open carry ban, since no such thing as open carry license valid statewide.

        the fact that the State had produced no evidence that anyone has ever received an open carry permit in the history of the State is pretty pathetic, especially since they pretended like Baird had not shown that to be the case - when the State literally could not produce one single open carry application or permit from any time period.

        the State’s arguments were not well crafted. I predict a win for Baird, possibly 3-0.

          Baird's attorney did much better in this appeal than the prior appeal.
