I read the PD's statement that the boy in question had attacked the officer and tried to wrest his duty weapon from him. That sounds like a good shoot to me and legalities aside, I'm glad there is one less scumbag on the streets trying to steal guns and then doing god-knows-what with them. The liberal media, however, was quick to pass judgement and published that a black boy was murdered in cold blood by a cop.

What did you think the cop would say? Of course he said that, he had to.

What's he gonna say, "A teenager slapped me and pushed me back in my car so I shot him in the back while he was walking away, because I'm an enititled cop and no one gets to make me look like such a wimp"?

Don't think that would go over too well in court.

I am all for every police officer mandated to wear a go pro camera constantly recording his/her actions on duty...

It's not about smashing a window, or stealing a tv, or helping/hurting a community. Riots are a breakdown of society caused by the absence of govt security. The riot started because people decided that the line in the sand is when the police shoot an unarmed black boy in the back, that the police are no longer legitimate, they are just another gang to contend with. Their whole concept of "rule of law" vanishes. It's suddenly the mad max dystopia to them. In a societal system where employers only pay workers because they are bound by law to do so, when the rioters think there is no rule of law, then personal property is just there in the environment, free for the taking unless its owner is standing there to protect it.

Anytime an investigation is going, the media stokes flames and tensions while the PD/DA conducts it's investigation. While this happens we get gems like the above statement and riots.

Also, I love how 18 year old thugs killed by police are known as "teenager", "child", "boy" but 18 year olds in the military are known as "men". Must have something to do with responsibility, maturity and a purpose.

If they are stealing stuff to begin with, then I would think that was the intentions to begin with. If they were truly concerned with "change" or "message", the riots would have never happened. They would have been marching down the street instead. IMO

Absolutely. At minimum, one would think that they would at least direct their ire toward those they believed responsible, rather than those who had noting to do with it.

Supposedly the local PD have wearable cam systems, but they have yet to deploy it.

Reading this, gives the impression of a racist overtone, no offense, just saying it like I see it. Are you saying Black People are the only ones who riot?
Having lived thru the Rodney King Riots, Katrina, Oakland Raiders Playoffs, Stanley Cup Wins, Occupy Wall Street, one G-8 Summit and multiple disasters both here and overseas, I can guarantee you that you are no farther from the truth. Ive seen white folks tear up a Starbucks just as fast as black people tear up a Best Buy.
Its not the color of the people that are doing this behavior, its the base level opportunistic predator human, who is looking to accomplish this while hopefully avoiding any type of repercussions from a legal standpoint. Its best to recognize this pattern of behavior is based on a mob mentality, and not so much based on the color of the persons skins.

Nothing gives anybody the right to loot, burn, and destroy someones property because of what someone else did.

The same thing basically happened with the Treyvon Martin case and when the case was adjudicated we found out the truth.

Have you looked at the demographics of the incidents you just listed? google pictures of those riots that happened here in the US. List all the major ones and just look at the pictures of who is involved.

Dont need to these are all incidents that I have actually witnessed for myself.

We call it the lowest common denominator. It is in every society. It knows no color, creed, or boundary. Stark poverty and lack of education are the breeding grounds for most of it.
