Where to find an "issued" US Army Survival Manual?

I was shopping at B&N this morning for some Harley Davidson books (an encyclopedia/buyers guide kind of thing) and I came across what initially looked like an actual US Army Survival Manual. Turned out that it was just a reproduction, and not "The real deal", as collectors/purists such as myself call it.

Are there even any "authentic" field manuals legally for sale? I was going to get one and put it in my Jansport BOB.

For BOB purposes, is there a difference?

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Authentic ones do not have publisher's marks or a barcode.

Don't overlook The engineer handbook, it is pretty good.

I just like the feel of paper better

Still looking for an authentic US Army Survival Manual though...

Now that you mention it I know what u mean, a manual would better than a stack of paper

I'll use the site to peruse which manuals would be worth acquiring

THe paper version is redudancy which is why I have both. You could also check ebay or amazon for the authetic ones but an easy route is a surplus store or someone who still has theirs from going through it. My bro kept his books and gave em to me

Picked up a Marine field guide along the way, that weird paper and all, it's in with the gear.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".
