    black hawk 3 day bag?

Thoughts? Lacks MOLLE. I can get one for fairly cheap.

The Blackhawk you linked is 2000 cu in. Might be a bit small for everything you need. I've been looking for a decent (Sub $100) bag as well but around 3000 cu in to get a little more space.

Came across these on LA Police Gear. Both got decent reviews.
The LA Police Gear Operator Backpack features a padded back and ergonomically designed pockets and compartments that will meet your needs, no matter what the job.

    This one also looks interesting:
The Condor 3-Day Assault Pack is constructed of heavy duty nylon material and the MOLLE compatibility

Why waste your money on built in china junk? The LAPG stuff if you read the reviews, is pretty much sitting in vehicles, and not actually being put to use. The times it is being put to use, well, you can read about the failures of zippers and pockets in the interior continually.

I have the Overnighter Big BackPack from Autumn Creek. Made in America, Unlimited Lifetime Warranty. Nuff Said.

Go with Autumn Creek and get the bag you really can use. Plus it has a lifetime warranty. They are designed for railroad'ers and they are called "grips", but they are tougher than military issue packs, and carry more stuff. Did I mention it has a lifetime warranty? Show me someone else who has that on a piece of equipment thats been used and abused? Each one is handbuilt, and you can choose whatever color you want, ACU/MarPat/Grey-Man Subdued or Neon Pink. Like I said, I use the overnighter big backpack. I think they also have package deals if you are buying a pack for you and the wife/husband/Significant Other

If you can stand doing a bit of needle work, you can try putting together your own pack. I used MOLLE straps, pads, and frame on a large ALICE pack. Cost me ~$70.

Alternatively, you can look at a surplus ILBE pack.

Camelbak makes some very nice packs and the price includes the bladder.

I bought a drago gear assault pack for $67 shipped on amazon. I'm real new to this and it's built well.

Looks like a great pack Storm, gotta love that warranty, but I've spent enough time on the trail to appreciate a padded hip belt.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

The Black hawk bags are not bad bags at all.
I am on my second one after close to 20 years of use.
The zippers gave out on the first bag after almost 12 years of daily use.
The replacement bag is still in fine shape but no longer used daily.

I carry a Rush 12 daily and LOVE that pack. Also works great for day hikes.

The blackhawk reminds me of the London Bridge Trading 3 Day Assault pack minus the molle.

Wonder if made by same factory, but LBT is suppose to be made in USA and I think most (not all) Blackhawk are in Vietnam. For hard use, I would trust the London Bridge more.

If you like blackhawk look at the X-1 R.A.P.T.O.R. See if you can find it cheaper or on sale. It is a bigger bag and well made. It would make a great range bag too. I love mine, I use it as carry on at the airport. Here is a link.

I'd stay away from the LA Police Gear bags. My LA Police Gear Operator Backpack lasted about one month of everyday use. The stitching that connected the front pouch with the main pouch blew out. I ended up purchasing a 5.11 Rush 24 and have had no issues (it's been about one year).

If you read the reviews of the Operator Backpack on the LAPG website, most of the reviewers have not actually owned the pack for any length of time. Most reviewers are just excited about their packs and give great reviews without actually putting the pack through the grind.

                              Stay Safe,

                              Country Jim
