They are saying gold and silver prices will keep falling, but silver won't fall as fast as gold.

Yes, a pretty good dive this morning.
Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.

Be patient. Silver will trade at $10-$12 by years end or early 2015.
As long as the dollar gains on other currencies PM's will decline in value.
The silver play is over for now.

Silver/gold play has been over for years, it just takes a long time for those wed to their ideas to admit it.

Does that mean we will get a respite from those insipid radio commercials?

I hope so. It certainly seems to have stopped all the trucks from "backing up".

Will it ever get down to $5? where is the buy mark? Not to invest but just to have for future generations or whatever. If you had a $1500 or so burning a hole in your pocket?

If I had $1,500 burning a hole in my pocket, I would be stocking up on, food, water and bleach!

                            Really?

I didn't realize gold or silver could cure ebola? My guess is if the disease were to cause great panic and concern that bleach, solvents, soaps, plastic and ductape would rock; silver/gold....not so much.

                              $5

Yes I bought plenty at $4.90 to $5.25 back in the late 80's early 90's. Good times. I recall when it was between 40/50 a few years ago selling some and getting a nice new hand gun - thinking that thing cost me about $70. SWEET but I was really lucky and look how long I held it; moving it every time I moved, making sure no one stole it and that money I tied up in silver probably would have been worth a lot more in several stocks.

If I had $1,500 right now I'd probably buy some reasonably priced ammo now that things are settling back to normal. Or if I didn't have a reloading set up - I'd get one with lots of powder, primers and bullets.

                                Lol, Ebola? SERIOUSLY?

Too funny. Good to see the low info crowd sticking to the flavor of the day knee jerk ZOMG world is gonna end because of (insert blank here) as a reason to buy PM.

Some people stay poor for a reason...
