Does anyone know who the retired woman Fed is that Allen Kane assassinates in her double-wide at the end of the book? (With Blaine's 92fs).
Is it Ellett Stevens, the judge who was signing the blank warrants?

Reading the Old Man and the End of the World series on Kindle Unlimited. Into book two and am entertained. Author pokes fun at the Dems/Libs/SJW's etc. and is knowledgeable on Firearms.

Just finished The Old Man and the End of the World, book 1, recommended here. Excellent, especially as it was free on Kindle. Books 2 and 3 aren't free, but should be worth it.

Neighborhood Watch books 1 & 2 were good. Am waiting on #3.

Black Hills Fall is another I enjoyed.

Another book in the Commune series by Joshua Gayou is coming out later this year.

Commune 5: The Battle of DC

I really liked the first few books, but must admit I was not as enthused by book #4. I have this pending book on my wish list, but I am not yet motivated enough to pre-order it.

Enjoying Jack Carr's Series, on the 4th book now. Also, the Gray Man series is great too, though the capacity to believe that he could survive all of those shootouts is a bit beyond the pale.

I am listening to In the Blood - the 5th book in Jack Carr's series, and today I picked up my signed (and shot) hard copy from the Post Office.

I devoured Lucifers Hammer as a teen. I was not introduced to Earth Abides until fairly recently - it holds up pretty well for a 70+ year old book.

I really enjoyed all three of the books in the One Second After series. Forstchen's Day of Wrath is a much shorter book about terrorism - in many ways it is superior to and more disturbing than the One Second After books.

If you listen to Audible audiobooks https://freeaudiobookcodes.com/ is a great site. They have tons of books (changes hourly), and quite a few prepper, survivalism type fiction books.

They have codes for the books for two different markets: US and the United Kingdom. Often they will run out of US codes first but will still have UK codes. I can't count the number of times they would be out of US codes, but still have UK codes and I figured I was out of luck until someone explained I can setup an account with the UK version of Audible as well. Sure enough, simple to set up, I don't have a paid membership with Audible UK, but I can still get books there - I have gotten more than 80 free books so far on my UK account, many many times that on my US account.

I just about finished "One Year After". I get really upset when reading it and the previous. I know it is just fiction, Fiction right.........?

Getting upset is the reason I quit "Unintended Consequences" when it got to Ruby Mt. And there are those who want to give the government more power.
