Some won't know what these are on the west coast, but here we go... Google Lens has been HUGELY helpful, but ID'd Pokeberry as Virginia Tobacco, before it set berries, so watch it...
Beautyberries found on the 36 acres, so when I saw these on the 1 Acre I live on, I knew what they were...

Found like 15 more of these bad boys this last month.
Apparently the deer love them, someone doing work at the house that pays for a deer lease told me...
2x Red mulberry, but missed it, until today, so I missed the fruit and harvest, as I lagged in getting back to the back part of the acre this year for plant IDs...

A few Mockernut Hickory trees:
image.png
AND Muscadines, Muscadines, Muscadines, all over the place...
Propped some up near the house on some old woven cattle-fence piece I cut from a roll embedded in roots on the property,
hopefully some of these 4 vines are female, or I might have wasted my time with my tribute to raising free vines up on high...
image.png
We'll see, they are starting to flower now...
Tons more, but don't want to dump a bunch more pics.
Bought some pink flagging tape for marking the females, so I can propagate when they go dormant.
Apparently wild Muscadines are typically smaller than named, TM'd/Patented varieties, BUT GRATIS IS GRATIS, even if smaller.
I plan on starting a home-based nursery/plant propagation business with free (root)stock.
Maybe it'll carry over to the 36 acres, if I am ever able to move out there, and use that as part of the AG exemption (only counts for 10 acres+).
Got some Beautyberry, Mockernut hickory, and Juniper cuttings in some moist sand, and potting mix, after scraping off to the cambium, and dipping in rooting hormone, so we shall see...
Not sure if Cedar will root from cuttings, but I'm going to try...
