    EcoFlow dual fuel smart generator

I’m looking at the 1800w version to pair with my delta 2. I like the auto start feature as a backup to my solar. Does anyone have experience with these?

That was the combo I was trying to suggest to a friend who has no preps and doesn’t see what the big deal is; he’ll learn one day and at least he can’t say I didn’t warn him. My only experience is with the Delta 2 Max which I keep in an off-grid outbuilding to operate an electric garage door and interior light. It’s been good to me so far.

I think the combination of the Delta 2 Max inverter-battery paired with a the small EcoFlow gas generator creates an interesting option for emergency backup power. It solves the issue of having a generator constantly running (and making noise) in order to have power. You can let the solar generator unit efficiently provide power silently, overnight or when you’re away.

The gas powered generator can be rolled out at your convenience to recharge the solar generator. It’s a tidy way to keep a fridge and freezer going during a blackout and gets you out of the issue of having to constantly guard your gas generator from theft. You only deploy the gas generator when you need to charge up the battery bank. This combination lets you get by with a smaller, less expensive gas generator than you would otherwise need.

There are many other benefits with this pairing and it’s a good combination for the situation many urban dwellers find themselves in.

Less than 50, only $415 on eBay. When it gets here I’ll do an oil change and test it out. Figured it would be better to get some non CARB compliant stuff before I move back to CA

I went with a dual fuel generator not the ecoflow model but wanted around 4,000 watts but still small enough to move also that wasn't too loud and it fits what I need perfect because that way I could charge my Delta 2 and Delta Pro at the same time without having to run the generator too hard when i need to use it giving me extra power to run high watt appliances. I thought about the ecoflow generator but they need a longer cord from the dual fuel generator to your solar generator. It would be nice to have the Generator running outside with a long enough cord inside.
