Hell yeah. Thanks Crufflers. I scored a slickster in multicam. (thanks to Master Prestige)
Canadians made this? Nice work, eh

My buddy said he bought a few bulletproofing supplies (large wall panels maybe?) from this place (below) and they shipped immediately.
Not a big fan of AliBaba and or Chinesium, but Jiangsu Linry posts the Oregon Ballistics and HP White lab results for their stuff. --Not for everyone, i understand.
$80 IIIa helmet wall/car panels $100 IIIa poor man's vest
Figured i'd put this here. Cheers and good luck

I'll check out those links. I have two Slicksters and they are great.

Honestly, I got that BOTACH (VISM) carrier for my son as a NERF WARS costume to go with his battle belt. It holds plates just fine and lots of sizes of plates. I had 10x12 level IV in there before. I was hoping to put the 11x14 into a backpack but it was too wide. Fits fine in the BOTACH low-pro carrier. I was actually pretty shocked for $15.98... you can't rip that thing... closes up just like a slickster in front.

A good value for sure. I was looking @ this . In my mind, This stuff can't be any worse than safe life ..
I work with a dude from Israel he says over there, there are times/places where damn near everyone has some type of bulletproofing on.

          got it

I just unwrapped this yesterday - same exact one. I think I paid a total of $42 for the two of them. I ordered two because free shipping was at 35. I ordered A500 plates a few months ago during the $69 sale and they slid right in. Felt comfortable. I could toss a big flannel shirt (almost jacket) over it if I had too and another wind breaker I have too. I don't have a ton to spend and didn't think about even getting this until wanting to visit some political events. In total I'm into this $122 and I have an extra carrier. I figured the cheap carrier wouldn't last so it was ok to get two.

I have Condors and one of the $15.98 carriers from BOTACH. Guess what? The $15.98 carrier is comfortable and won't drop plates out the bottom. Actually it loads from the top and holds an 11x14" plate if you want. This one has a Level IIIA+ 11x14 in front and a IIIA+ 10x12 in back... feels balanced enough, light as hell and lots of adjustment. Just sharing. Everyone doesn't have $200 to spend on a carrier. WILL IT WORK? YEAH. Plate position is right on whether it is a 10x12 or a 11x14 (internal adjuster strap at bottom of each pocket you use with anything shorter than an 11x14). VERY durable material, stitching is good.

Is FERRO a lot cooler? Is it cool to buy USA? Of course.

Yeah the white will blend under a shirt, thinking of getting white.

Anyone notice the reason why the LAPG and Botach plates are cheaper and lighter than other plates is probably because the ceramic does not take up the whole 10x12 plate? The ceramic stops at least 2" from the edge of the plate. So these are really 6x8 plates. Its kind of false advertising. Really sneaky.

Well not 2 in, more like 1/2 inch to 1 inch around the edge, at least for the Battle Steel ones. You are correct they do not have full 10x12 ceramic though.

looks like 1/4" foam ring around the edge. (not 2")

buffman examines the ceramic strikeface a bit in this test
i believe it's 1/4" foam around the edges which makes the strikeface 9.5" X 11.5" (not 10x12) (the botach b steel plate is advertised as 9.5x11.5)

                        maybe buffman will chime in

I just got my battle steel plates, can confirm. The foam edge is 1/8 inch to 1/4 at most. The problem is I cant tell where the ceramic coverage starts. Its either up to the edge of where the foam is, or it starts after that little raised portion. So the actual ceramic area is 9.5x11.5 or 9x11 from what I can tell. Its for sure not 8x10 or smaller.

I'd like to see the botach 3+ plates tested by buffman
                              4.25lbs and .8" thin, for $129
almost seems too good to be true

Thats reassuring. I just received this plate as well and was pleasantly surprised to see it does have a slight curve from top to bottom, so "triple curved" so to speak. Which is a great feature.
