Old Candle Wax - What to do?

My lovely wife likes to have candles lit under coolish inclement weather.

Invariably they will burn out and no longer function as intended.

But they leave a large wad/ring of paraffin or wax, which I conclude got be useful for fire starting or something.

They are high level hydrocarbons so not to be disposed lightly, IMO. Now up to two five gallon pails, so looking for suggestions.

Melt them all together in the turkey fryer, lol.

We collect them, melt them, pour into new glass with a wick and reuse them.

I use the remaining candle wax as flux for melting lead. My wife throws the candle in the freezer then smacks the remaking wax out easily

I melt them into sawdust and cut into squares and use them to light my wood stove.

That is an excellent idea, better than Magnesium flakes, Mg is a little too aggressive, lol.

We’d dip pine cones in wax as a kid to make cheap easy fire starters.
